Walpole Youth Baseball Foundation

Hubbard Park

THE DETAILS

JJA Sports, LLC provided athletics planning, sports facility design, permitting and construction phase services as part of a design/build /construction management team which included Carolyn Cooney Associates and Power Engineering, for the Hubbarb Park in Walpole, New Hampshire. The effort consisted of developing the full athletic design for a high school and adult league, 90’ diamond, a little league field and a girls’ softball field. All fields were lit.

The project, dedicated to Went Hubbard, was privately funded by the Walpole Youth Baseball Foundation. Went was a semi-pro ball player that played into his early 30’s. During the 80’s, he took on the challenge of the Owner of the Tulsa Drillers, a double A affiliate of the National League Champion Colorado Rockies, that play in the historic Texas league. In 2006, he was elevated into the Texas League Hall of Fame.
