College of the Holy Cross

JJA Sports, LLC was selected on multiple occasions to provide athletic master planning, detailed design, surface consulting, and construction administration services for the development of a new lacrosse stadium with track and field throwing event areas, men’s and women’s varsity sand-based natural turf soccer stadium and a new competition tennis complex. These projects are all part of their overall athletics master plan.

These improvements to campus are critical to the success of their varsity programs, which are generally located at the Fitton Field and Hart Center portions of the campus. Each was complicated by the complex nature of the campus’ geology which includes steep slopes, poor soils and bedrock. In addition to the major program elements, each project included fencing, donor recognition, ADA accessibility and landscape improvements.
