JJA Sports, LLC provided athletic facility and synthetic surface design consulting, athletic master planning to re-evaluate and update a previous master plan, synthetic surface evaluation, detailed design and documentation and construction phase services for the development of a new, multi-sport venue. JJA Sports LLC was part of the SMMA design team.
The project’s site was the campus’ only outdoor athletic facility and is located on a remote parcel from the rest of campus. The facility had to serve all the outdoor athletic uses, both as a primary practice field and event venue. The remote nature of the site required development of an access walkway through the adjacent city-owned land.
